Professional Achievement Awards

College of Education and Human Performance Awardees

The Professional Achievement Award recognizes an alumnus/alumna who has reached for the stars in his or her respective field. Each college selects an individual as a recipient of the award for their college. Over the years the College of Education and Human Performance has honored with the Professional Achievement Award a host of extraordinary educators, including teachers, counselors, district superintendents, civic and nationally recognized leaders in the field of education. The recipients have traditionally been recognized at the UCF Alumni Association's annual homecoming social event, the Black and Gold Gala.

Dr. Gonzalo La Cava recieves the 2015 UCF Alumni Association Professional Achievement Award.
