Author Panels and Book Signings

The UCF Book Festival hosts renowned national and local authors annually. With many author panel presentations scheduled, participants have a variety of sessions to choose from that promise to be exciting for readers of all ages. Keynote, author panel discussions, book signings, and readings are planned with participating authors.

Children’s Zone

The Children Zone is designed for children of all ages. Exciting and engaging literary activities are scheduled throughout the day. Children can expect a day of meeting book characters, petting therapy horses, listening to authors read aloud, tasting yummy treats, posing with a Star Wars Character, and much more. Early literacy screenings are available from Nemours Children’s Hospital.

The Scholastic Book Fair is stationed at the Children’s Zone where parents and children purchase books.

Cooking Demonstrations

Join local and national chefs as they demonstrate how to cook their famous recipes. Samples and recipe cards are often provided. You may even be invited up on stage to participate!
