The Boys Town National Hotline: 1800 448 3000 children (girls and boys) and parents can call with any problem at any time - children who are suffering physical or sexual abuse, depressed, thinking about suicide, on the run, taking drugs, hooked on alcohol, threatened by gangs, or just fighting with their parents; or parents frustrated by an out-of-control child, scared of any abusive, alcoholic spouse, dependent on drugs or alcohol, or seeking shelter for their homeless family.

Jeremiah Project 51: 866-721-7385 (toll free).  This allows your child to call if he or she is being bullied or if he or she witnessed someone at school being bullied. Jeremiah 51 gets the name and number of the school and asks them to investigate the complaint; the school has 24 hours to do the investigation. We also notify you, the parent, and call or visit the school to ensure the investigation has been done. After one week, we contact your child and make sure that the complaint has been handled.
