Dr.Conrad Katzenmeyer is an evaluation consultant associated with the Program Evaluation and Educational Research Group. He was previously Chair of the Educational Research, Technology and Leadership Department in the College of Education at the University of Central Florida. Upon arrival at UCF, he also assumed of position of Executive Director of the Program Evaluation Education Research Group (PEER) responsible for conducting contract evaluations and research both on and off campus. He has been active in the field of evaluation for over 35 years. Before joining the UCF faculty in January 2005, he was Senior Program Director for Evaluation in the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) at the National Science Foundation for 12 years. He coordinated the Evaluation Program, planned the program evaluations for the EHR directorate and other parts of NSF, and personally monitored over 25 evaluations. He has also been responsible for research and evaluations for the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Navy, and a number of academic institutions. Based on his work with NSF, he received the Alva and Gunnar Myrdal Government Award from the America Evaluation Association in 2003. Only one such award is made annually for all levels of government.
