Tuition Support through TEACH Grants

Are you interested in applying for a TEACH Grant? TEACH Grants are funded by the U.S. Department of Education and provide scholarships to students who are completing or who plan to complete coursework that is required to begin a career in teaching, and who agree to teach full-time for at least four years. Applications (graduate students) for the 2016-2017 academic year are due by Friday, January 13, 2017.

The federal government has identified several high-need fields. Eligible graduate programs include Exceptional Education (M.A., M.Ed.), K-8 Middle School Math/Science (M.Ed.), Math Education (M.A./M.Ed.), Reading Education (M.Ed.), and Science Education (M.A., M.Ed.). Those students pursuing a master's degree in teaching within the identified fields are eligible for up to $4,000 per year in grants to a maximum of $8,000 for a two-year master's program.
