Two CEDHP Graduate Programs Receive Top Rankings by U.S. News & World Report

Counselor Education and Exceptional Student Education were ranked in U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 Best Graduate Schools.

UCF’s highest ranked program is Counselor Education, which advanced two spots to No. 7. Exceptional Student Education ranks 20th nationwide and is the fourth-highest ranked graduate program at UCF.

The U.S. News & World Report’s Best Graduate Schools rankings were based on acceptance rates, standardized test scores, incoming students’ grade-point averages, and academic experts’ opinions about program excellence.

Dean Pamela Carroll is proud of our college’s graduate school rankings.

“We are delighted to be recognized, and especially to see the addition of our Exceptional Student Education program added to the list of Top 20 programs nationally,” said Dean Carroll. “Our Counselor Education program continues to do fine work, with growth particularly in its marriage and family therapy program through its federally funded Project Harmony and the excellent work it is doing to provide counseling opportunities in area elementary schools.”
