ICDE Explores Innovative Concepts for Advancing Doctoral Education

The International Conference on Doctoral Education: Organisational Leadership and Impact featured global scholars and more than 30 presentations showcasing research, new methods, and best practices for furthering doctoral education.

The three-day conference provided participants with a collegial platform for engaging in dialogue about the multifaceted nature, politics, culture, and economic contexts of doctoral pedagogy.

First-time attendee Dr. Judith Converso is the School of Business and Technology Management Dissertation Chair at Northcentral University in San Diego, California. She enjoyed the synergetic discussions about doctoral education.

“This is one of the few conferences dedicated to doctoral education,” she said. “The event provides attendees with an opportunity to share, discuss, and listen to commonalities and differences amongst universities, including what’s innovative or creative. That’s the beauty of this small, intimate conference.”

The fourth International Conference on Doctoral Education is March 19-21, 2019.
