Dr. Evelyn Lynn Celebrated During 2017 Women’s History Month

The UCF Center for Success of Women Faculty (CSWF) is honoring retired Educational Leadership Lecturer and former Florida Senator Dr. Evelyn Lynn.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queens College, Master of Arts in English and Social Studies from Stetson University, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Florida.

Her vast career has included being a Volusia County Schools educator and Assistant Superintendent of Research and Teacher Evaluation and serving her constituents in the Florida Senate and Florida House of Representatives.

Dr. Lynn has fond UCF memories, but will treasure the conversations and time spent with students the most.

“The enthusiasm and dedication of students who are in or entering teaching and the high level and thoughtful discussions of educators in the doctoral program. I will miss them all.”
