A Gift for Teaching

A Gift For Teaching's mission is to ensure that underprivileged students in the Central Florida community have the basic tools necessary to succeed in school and life by collecting and distributing the community's surplus supplies and merchandise and distributing it to students in need through the Free Store for teachers. HAPPY Hour has assumed an additional service activity by partnering with A Gift for Teaching. Students attending the HAPPY Hour Student Showcase are encouraged to bring donations of teaching supplies for A Gift for Teaching. College of Education faculty and staff are also asked to participate in this service activity. All donations are combined after the Showcase and given as a gift to A Gift for Teaching. Items can also be donated throughout the school year.

Donations can be dropped off in Dr. Verkler's suite ED 220 or her office ED 220L.
