HAPPY Hour Student Showcase Scholarship

HAPPY Hour is dedicated to the professional development of UCF’s pre-service teachers. The HAPPY Hour Student Showcase Scholarship, to be awarded at the 5th anniversary of the HAPPY Hour Student Showcase for the very first time, will enable HAPPY Hour Student Showcase presenters to progress to the next level of professional development – attending a professional conference in the field of education. Two HAPPY Hour Student Showcase presenters who demonstrate a high level of commitment to professional development in education will each receive a scholarship to attend a state educational professional conference of their choice. The scholarship, which will be awarded during the Closing Session of the HAPPY Hour Student Showcase, will cover conference registration and lodging up to $500.

Interested student presenters must fill out a HAPPY Hour Student Showcase Scholarship application packet and submit it in hard copy form to:

Application packets must be received by Friday, January 15, 2010. The packets will be reviewed by the HAPPY Hour Scholarship Committee. The scholarship winners will be announced at the Closing Session of the HAPPY Hour Student Showcase on Saturday, January 30, 2010.
