Application Process
Requirements for Consideration to Admission
All applicants must:
- Teach in a public school
- Teach in a regular education classroom
- Teach in a Florida elementary classroom or teach mathematics or science in a middle school
- Hold one or more of the following types of teaching certificate; Elementary 1-6, or Science 5-9, or Science 6-12, or Mathematics 5-9, or Mathematics 6-12.
- Will have taught at minimum of three years by summer for fall consideration
- Must submit a completed University of Central Florida Graduate Admissions application packet for fall consideration
- For best consideration of financial assistance, submit a completed Lockheed Martin/UCF Academy application packet by due date assigned.
Each year enrollment to this program is limited to 15 teachers.

Dr. Dieker will check transcripts of required content courses, create a semester-by-semester course schedule for each T-MAST student and enroll students for required courses if necessary
- Decide on the year in which you want to participate in the paid internship
- Apply for Master of Arts in either Mathematics Education or Science Education, middle school track
- Submit completed UCF graduate admissions forms.
- Register for and take the appropriate subject area examination.
- Apply for fellowship
- Interview with Dr. Dieker or Dr. Jeanpierre
- If possible, begin to substitute teach
