Steps to Take

Dr. Dieker will check transcripts of required content courses, create a semester-by-semester course schedule for each T-MAST student and enroll students for required courses if necessary

• Decide on the year in which you want to participate in the paid internship
• Apply for Master of Arts in either Mathematics Education or Science Education, middle school track
• Provide a minimum GRE score of 840 (verbal and quantitative sections) with a 3.0 GPA in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework. If a 3.0 GPA had not been achieved, a score of 1,000 is required on the GRE.
• Submit completed UCF graduate admissions forms.
• Register for and take the appropriate subject area examination. 
• Apply for fellowship
• Interview with Dr. Dieker or Dr. Jeanpierre
• If possible, begin to substitute teach
