Teaching Mathematics through Robotics is a 1-day workshop facilitated by Dr. Megan Nickels focused on mathematics content and pedagogy for K-12 educators. The workshop will utilize Wonder Workshop's Dash and Lego Mindstorm's EV3 and WeDo robots. Teachers will receive grade level specific mathematics tasks aligned to state and national standards. As this is not a beginner level workshop, it is recommended that educators participate in the Beginning Computer Science in the Classroom professional development as a pre-requisite to this workshop.
