Graduate Certificate

Department of Educational Studies

The Graduate Certificate in Urban Education is designed to offer education to professionals who work with, or are interested in, urban issues. The program consists of five graduate courses that address critical issues associated with life in urban schools.

PLAN OF STUDY - 15 CREDIT HOURS MINIMUM

Core Courses (9 hrs)
EDF 6725: Critical Issues in Urban Education 3 hrs
EDF 6936: Teaching & Learning in Urban Settings 3 hrs
EDG 6636: Social Contexts of the Urban Classroom 3 hrs
