Department of Teaching and Learning Principles

This state-approved teacher education program prepares graduates to effective teachers of secondary science in the field of physics. The program is dedicated to providing all graduates with exceptional pedagogical and subject matter knowledge and skills. Additionally, this program is committed to developing collaborative community partnerships, utilizing technological advances, and maintaining currency in "state of the art" best practices in secondary science education.

Program Highlights

  • This program helps prepare science teachers in grades 6-12 who are highly effective in a field with high demand
  • Graduates are certified to teach grades 6-12 in Physics
