Elementary Education, B.S. - Lifelong Learning

Undergraduate Studies

Department: School of Teaching, Learning, and Leadership

The Lifelong Learning (LLL) tracks prepare students for employment in a variety of informal educational settings where requirements such as content knowledge, an understanding of how children and adults learn, and strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the added proficiency in areas such as marketing, management, event planning, and cognitive, physical and emotional development are needed.

These program tracks provide a unique opportunity to develop essential knowledge and skills not only in specific content areas but also in one or more specializations through experiential learning or internship experiences with our many partner organizations.

The development of multiple skill sets combined with experiential learning and internship experiences strongly prepares graduates for employment in professional educational roles working with the general public.
