Undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Education and Human Performance can expand their academic experiences through engagement in high quality research. Undergraduate Research

  • Florida Undergraduate Research Conference
    This annual conference is open to all undergraduate researchers in the state of Florida to present their research in a poster forum.
  • Honors in the Major
    Honors in the Major is UCF's most advanced undergraduate research program. It is designed to assist juniors and seniors to develop their own independent research project under the direction of a thesis advisor and faculty thesis committee.
  • McNair Scholars Program
    The McNair Scholars Program is designed to prepare students from low-income, first-generation and traditionally underrepresented groups for doctoral studies.
  • National Conferences on Undergraduate Research
    NCUR is a national organization that supports quality undergraduate student-faculty collaborative research and scholarship.
  • Office of Undergraduate Research
    Exists to enrich and strengthen the undergraduate research climate at the University of Central Florida.
  • Research and Mentoring Program $
    The UCF Research and Mentoring Program (RAMP) is designed to provide undergraduate students, who may be interested in pursuing graduate education, with research experience while working closely with a faculty mentor. Undergraduate students participating in this program receive $2,800 each year.
  • Showcase of Undergraduate Research Excellence (SURE)
    SURE invites undergraduates who are engaged in research or creative activities to showcase their research every spring in a poster forum.
  • Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) $
    The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) invites students from all disciplines to participate in independent research and creative projects in collaboration with UCF faculty during the summer. Students will receive $1000 for the 10 hours per week spent working on the research project and additional program requirements.
  • CEDHP Undergraduate Research Showcase (URS) $
    Offered in the Spring semester, the Undergraduate Research Showcase (URS) is a poster-or-display-based forum for UCF undergraduates in the College of Educations and Human Performance (CEDHP) to present their research and creativity projects to our college and partnering communities. Undergraduates from CEDHP are encouraged to present current or recent academic projects showcasing the diversity of topics, approaches, and interests within education and human performance.   • UCF Undergraduate Research Journal
    UCF's Undergraduate Research Journal is a multidisciplinary journal dedicated to showcasing student research. The Journal continually seeks submissions of undergraduate research.
  • Undergraduate Student Research Grant $
    The UCF Undergraduate Student Research Grant encourages undergraduate students from all disciplines to participate in independent research and creative projects in collaboration with UCF faculty. Students can apply for grants up to $500 to support their research project.
  • Undergraduate Travel Awards $
    Undergraduate travel grants from the Office of Undergraduate Research are awarded to support undergraduate students to present research and creative projects at conferences and exhibitions.

Graduate Research

  • Graduate Research Forum
    The Graduate Research Forum features research poster presentations representing UCF’s diverse colleges and disciplines.
  • CEDHP Graduate Research Showcase $
    The College of Education and Human Performance (CEDHP) Graduate Research Showcase is held in the Spring Annually to prepare graduate student researchers for the university wide Graduate Research Forum. This poster-presentation event is an excellent opportunity for graduate students to get involved in research, share ideas with other students, and win scholarships!
  • UCF Graduate RAMP Fellowship Program $
    The UCF Graduate RAMP Fellowship is a competitive fellowship that is offered to the most outstanding undergraduate RAMP students who are accepted into UCF graduate programs.
  • Graduate McNair Fellowship Fellowships $
    UCF offers Graduate McNair Fellowships to provide financial support to the most outstanding undergraduate McNair scholars who enroll in UCF graduate programs.
  • Graduate Travel Fellowship $
    The Graduate Travel Fellowship is a great opportunity for students who plan to deliver a research paper or comparable creative activity at a professional conference.
