Project Bridges: Intensive Intervention Personnel Preparation Project

The purpose of this federally-funded, personnel preparation, five year project is to recruit, identify, and support the preparation of highly qualified special education teachers as intensive interventionists to serve students with low incidence disabilities (LID) including students with persistent and severe learning and behavioral problems that require the most intensive individualized supports.
During the project, forty-six Scholars from within all of the central Florida school districts will be selected and will receive tuition support to complete a Masters in Education (M.Ed.) in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) at the University of Central Florida, nationally ranked for this preparation program.
Lockheed Martin Academy
The Lockheed Martin/UCF Academy supports two Master's degree programs that are dedicated to improving mathematics and science education in Central Florida.

Project SPD: Special Educator Preparation in Severe or Profound Disabilities
A Masters program designed to increase the number, qualifications and diversity of special education teachers prepared to work with students with severe/low incidence disabilities.
Project ASD–Preparing teachers to work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Designed to increase the number, qualifications and diversity of special education teachers prepared to work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
A doctoral program designed to prepare highly competent special education leadership personnel, from culturally and linguistically diverse populations, for university faculty positions or for service in training positions in agencies or school systems.
