Project Tuition Support

There are multiple sources of federal and state tuition support for eligible teachers and teacher candidates. Check out the following resources:

Project Bridges: Intensive Intervention Personnel Preparation Project
MARY E. LITTLE & CYNTHIA PEARL, CO-DIRECTORS

The purpose of this federally-funded, personnel preparation, five year project is to recruit, identify, and support the preparation of highly qualified special education teachers as intensive interventionists to serve students with low incidence disabilities (LID) including students with persistent and severe learning and behavioral problems that require the most intensive individualized supports.

During the project, forty-six Scholars from within all of the central Florida school districts will be selected and will receive tuition support to complete a Masters in Education (M.Ed.) in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) at the University of Central Florida, nationally ranked for this preparation program.
