Not the End, Just Another Beginning

Coordinator of the Distance Ed and Online Learning at Winter Park TECH & Avalon Campus and M.A. student in the Career & Technical Education program at the University of Central Florida, receive one of a limited number of Ralph E. Gomory scholarships for the fall 2009 semester. Her essay was selected among numerous entries to receive this one‐time $500.00 award provided to UCF by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and named in honor of Dr. Ralph E. Gomory, recently retired President of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Under Dr. Gomory’s leadership the Foundation supported pioneering work in the field of online learning and provided over $80 million in grants to develop the theory and practice of online education.
