About the College
Welcome to the College of Education and Human Performance. For nearly 50 years, our college has been an integral part of UCF’s growing presence as a major metropolitan research university of global impact. We are proud to embrace the university’s goals in support of partnerships, diversity, and international prominence and focus in undergraduate and graduate study, research, and curricula.
Since its inception, graduates of the College of Education and Human Performance have had an impact on more than three million PK-12 students. Over the years, our graduates have strengthened Central Florida in roles such as teachers, counselors, school psychologists, education specialists, administrators, exercise physiologists, university/college faculty, and researchers. Their impact as effective professionals has influenced the social, economic and societal well-being of our community, the state and beyond, along with lives of countless individuals.
Through a wide-ranging choice of course work, degree and certificate programs, the college offers you the opportunity to develop and expand your expertise in serving your community. I invite you to explore the full spectrum of our programs and find the avenue that will best meet your aspirations and professional goals. Our faculty and professional advisors are ready to assist you in matching your individual academic goals to a program of study. Whether you wish to teach in a school, college, or university, counsel children, adults or families, develop and assess curricula, lead administratively, design the next generation of digital resources, conduct research, or gain certification in an educational discipline, there is a program and pathway for you.
We are very proud of our accomplished faculty and staff. Each member of our team is dedicated to serving our students. The College of Education and Human Performance is fully accredited and is recognized as one of the foremost institutions of its kind, nationally and internationally. Home to the Morgridge International Reading Center, the Toni Jennings Exceptional Education Institute, and the UCF Teaching Academy, we are committed to lifelong learning, serving as a hub for partnerships, and the promotion of proven and promising practices in teaching, learning and leading. I hope you will join us in the contribution education is making to our world.
